Liberty (Give My Freedom Back)

Liberty (Give My Freedom Back)

A Poem by Essa G

Liberty (Give My Freedom Back)

You took my freedom

You stole my kingdom

You made my life

Crumble apart

Now all that’s left is ashes

See what you’ve done with war

The days to come will never see

The star you call the sun

Give my freedom back

Mend the broken chain

Let my kingdom go

We’ve endured your reign

For far too long (3x)

Send the clouds away

Stop the lightning’s game

Shut your thunder off

Let me feel the rain

Let us go in peace

Let the people alive

Let the bells ring

Let the sun shine bright

Give my liberty

Let us all be free

Only then will

The circle be complete

You took my freedom

You stole my kingdom

You made my life

Crumble apart

Give my freedom back

Leave my kingdom please

Give me liberty

Only then will I

Be able to let you go

Turn your gravity off

Run and fly away free

Escape your evil’s greed

So please (2x)

Send the clouds away

Stop the lightning’s game

Shut your thunder off

Let me feel the rain

Let us go in peace

Let the people alive

Let the bells ring

Let the sun shine bright

Give my liberty

Let us all be free

Only then will

The circle be complete

You took my freedom

You stole my kingdom

You made my life

Crumble apart

I love to sing and baking, but singing the most. Writing is more of a hobby for me. I've written a novel called 'Silver' and I'm in the process of writing the sequel, which is called Prophetess. I hop.. more..
