Birthday

A birthday is something special

It comes once a year

Everyone rejoices

To celebrate the new

Presents are wrapped in paper

And even if they are not

They will still be as special as can be

Just like any other

Birthdays aren’t parties and gifts

Or cards, paper and balloons

A birthday is something different

It’s a celebration from the heart

People gather round the table

Because they care about one another

Family and friends

Come together to celebrate this special day.
