You gotta be strong

You gotta be brave

You gotta have courage

You gotta have faith

Don’t be anybody else

Stay true to who you are

Don’t have to be the one that

No one knows about

See, cause

You have to be the one

They all look up to

Don’t care what they thinking

You just gotta be you

Don’t do what they wanna

Stay put and stand your ground

Cause the thing they hate about you

Is what you shout aloud

I gotta be strong

I gotta be brave

I gotta have courage

I gotta have faith

Don’t be anybody else

Stay true to who you are

Don’t have to be the one that

No one knows about

I don’t care about

What you think is cool

Cause I got my own style

And I know you do too

Can’t we just be friends

In everything in life

Cause everything you say to me

Just stabs me like a knife

I don’t care about

What you think about me

Cause I don’t wanna be nobody

I don’t wanna be

I gotta stay strong
