At first you seemed so perfect

Saying it like you owned it

But as the time flew by

I began to see you lied

I thought you were different

That you were really into it

But you really didn’t care

It’s like I wasn’t even there

I guess I didn’t see it

The very first time

And that was my mistake

I made that big mistake

By letting you take my

Heart into your hands

When I knew I couldn’t trust you

I thought you were the one

My very own true love

I thought we’d be together

For always and forever
