Strangers in the nightA Poem by strying to find a someone that i met at a recent travel, crossed paths enjoyed the moment and now I will never see him again, as we were just strangers in the nightFrom the
moment I laid my eyes on you I was
lost in thought of who you were You
became a mystery I wanted to solve That day
I could not get you out of my head And that
night I caught a glimpse of you again sitting with a drink By now I
was drawn to you like moths to light You
walked over and I lost my heart in paradise Boy!
Your eyes I will never forget, they fucked me over You
became a book in my gallery that I wanted to read over and over again The
heart beats but it is trying to escape the rhythm Now my
eyes miss your smile and my body craves your touch I’m sorry but I did not mean to catch feelings But I
did Even
a******s deserved to be loved Now you
are on the other side of world, and I’m here looking for a needle in a hay stack
Will I
ever meet you again, maybe not? Cause we
were just strangers waiting to light up the night And you
left a mark that will never fade and a touch that will always linger on Boy!
Wish I never laid my eyes on you And I
wish you never wore that green shirt! Now
you’re a book that I will never get to read over and over again © 2019 s |
