5 years later

 

october 2nd’s...not getting any easier

tears fall and fade to grey
lyrics of five years ago sink
                   into my soul
i touched the things you
                              left
                      behind
kept in a box
in my closet
until this day
      every
        year
i look at the pictures
          of us
  through wet eyes
you still get me
i never had a clue
i close my eyes
 so
           i can
    feel
      you



like heaven
wind caught in eucalyptus trees
