I tried but I can't

I can't hate you 
Every time I try,
you pull me right back in.

Be it your wit, your charm, your eyes, your voice,
your mind, your smile, your sweetness, your accent.  

Everything about you pulls me back in. 
Sometimes it's frustrating. 

You don't want care, you want answers.
Answers that I cannot give you.
Answers that you must figure out yourself. 

I will be there every step of the way. If you let me.
I will catch you if you fall. Wipe your tears away. 

Make you smile when you pout. Hold you when you tremble.
I'll do it all and even more. Whatever you want.
Say the word and it's yours. Until the day, when you send me away. 

One word and I will let go of you. Not because I want to,
but because it's what you want. 
I'll do whatever it takes, to make you happy.
Even if it will make me unhappy. 

Therefore  I can't hate you 
Every time I try, you pull me right back in.
