Duplicity

Duplicity

A Poem by S.A. Kurzweil
"

Completed 2012.

"
Barely sharing the vengefulness that they sought
Sulking from the offenses
Not knowing if one was caught

Feeling the riddles trickle through the cracks
Hidden only by abstractions
Leading here points the tracks

The trifling mistake that fractured into a canyon
Lost was the rectification
By design of one's companion

Desires astutely drift into the darkness of a hollow
Tainted by self indulgence
Nearly concluding not to follow
