Love

 

An emotion called love

Binds two hearts

With its embrace

Its delusions are found

In the radiance of the

Sun

Moon

Stars

It nourishes the flowers

And makes them bloom

It falls like dew upon the grass

Its embers light our fires

It causes emotions in us

That we never thought

Possible

Love shields us from reality

It whispers to us to

Accept it

Enjoy it

It is all encompassing

All enlightening

It is the ultimate high

And the ultimate low

It overwhelms us

However we don’t understand it.

Yet it fascinates us

However we must let it go.

We must release it

And not listen to its whispers

And no matter how much

We might miss it

We must go on

Remain positive

Find joy in ourselves

And live life like tomorrow isn’t coming.

We must remember that

It is beautiful and

We must look up today

Tonight

Tomorrow

And be better for it as

It is better to have love and

Lost

Than never to have

Loved at all.
