Pang of Vacancy

Pang of Vacancy

A Poem by peacebeyondpassion

Pang of Vacancy

Emptiness has returned

My heart is vacant

Numb

It tried its best to stay protected

To keep up its shield

To keep on its armor

Somehow you

You got through

My heart opened up

It has felt the tinge of pain

The pang of vacancy

The solitude of loneliness

Again

When will this end.

I don't understand

Why you so

Bitterly pushed me away

Numbness keeps me from caring

Intellect keeps me wondering

Guess I will never know

I will never have closure

I grieve for you

But I do not cry

There are no tears left

Just stalemate.

About
I have been writing since I have been able to spell. Over the years I've taken my own tone, gathered my own thoughts about life, love and the pursuit of happiness. What I feel I either write it down.. more..
