you and me, we are the same

you and me, we are the same

A Poem by my life in black and white

You and me, we are the same.
By: Zack Steele

You and me, we are the same.

I have a nose, and you do too.

Mine is a little longer and yours is a little wider,
Mine is a little bit more modest, yours is a little higher.

I have a mouth and you do too,
You speak anger, but I speak truth.

You have brown eyes and I have blue
We see the same, but have different points of view.

My heart loves, your heart hates,
Your hands destroy, but my hands create.

But even though we have a different view,
I am sure you feel the same as I do.

We each are broken, we each feel pain,
You and me, we are the same.

A lovely poetic illustration to confirm that there is more that unites human beings than divides us. It is OK to have different views. It is not OK to hate. Kindness is everything and we all need to work harder at that. Love tge message here.
