PanwilaA Poem by SeuwandiMany a summers ago, when the world was younger A young girl skipped along the roads of Panwila she, a carefree butterfly fluttering blissfully lost in the magical universe of the little old town Purest water gurgling down crystal like streams Clove trees swaying whispering in the breeze Indeed, a paradise in the mortal world A drop of heaven, into one curled Evergreen tea estates in misty mornings the cozy aroma of Ceylon tea brewing at dawn Mountains rising guarding the little old town of Panwila Cascading waterfalls singing the age old story of mortal paradise A woman many summers later, when the world had aged yonder walking slowly slowly down the lane of memory Thousand miles and years part, her soul still dreams of the little old town of Panwila bathed in silvery moon lit beams
