It hurts.

It burns.

The pain.

A fire trying to stop me.

Stop me from saying it.

Stop me from telling.

Stop me from letting go.

 Of the one thing that can never be taken away.

The only thing that will always be mine.

My thoughts.

My secrets.

I know it’s a mistake.

But it’s a mistake I have to make.
