What might happen at a partyA Poem by Azarel SzaboWhat I wrote while sipping tea at a very peaceful get together in the middle of a beautiful outdoor setting.
I enter the door
The great welcoming door And my silence is drowned out With booming noises Speakers, shaking the very foundation Conversations, spoken yet unheard A drunken stupor on every face The fumes of all chemicals in the air All wild in motion Body against body In secret yet obvious promiscuity Every breath reeking of alcohol Lights blaring in the darkness I want to leave It's just too much Well... Maybe I'll have just one more drink And now I'm gone Lost in the primal passion Everything is bright Everything is black © 2013 Azarel Szabo |
