I Still Have You Dear

I Still Have You Dear

A Poem by Elizabeth Ristow

When the skies are grey and the air is cold. I still have you, dear. And together we will be bold.

When the times are hard and the picture is bleak, I still have you, dear. You will be strong when I am weak.

When the laughter dies and the ache sets in, I still have you, dear ... my truest friend.

You will lean on me, and I, on you. We still have each other, dear. And we will carry through.

Great rhyme and rhythm with a very important and heartfelt message. Indeed, there is little in this world that can compare to having a true friend. I might not be here if not for mine.
