It Looked Like a Demon

 

It looked like a demon

It tried to take my gun

And when I shot the demon

The demon tried to run

 

I ran after the demon

To capture back my pride

The demon stole it from me

 When he failed to comply

 

“Get the f**K out of the street!”

That was my one simple command

But the demon didn’t obey

He wanted to be treated like a man

 

I reached out the window

And pulled him to the car

But the demon overpowered me

So I didn’t get too far

 

It looked like a demon

With the strength of Hulk Hogan

David against Goliath

I slayed him, I was chosen

 

He was much bigger

I didn’t stand a chance

So I pulled the trigger

As the demon raised his hands

 

I fired several shots

4 to the body

2 to the head

Who would’ve thought…?

A demon’s blood is red

 

It was definitely a demon               

This I know to be true

The devil recognizes demons

And the devil wears blue

When he failed to comply - having been close to this scenario three times in my young adult life with a soldier holding a gun to my face I know that my life would have been doused had their pride been one iota greater. You nailed the crux here Serenus - but then again... you always did my friend.
