Hazardous MaterialA Poem by Sirius KingHazardous MaterialHazardous Material
Toxic textbooks Historical illusions Minds of the masses Diluted By the pollutions Of our educational Institutions Poisonous noise Attacking our ears Mind numbing music Used to arouse our fears Littered With lack luster lyrics No meaning No heart Just another catchy beat A hostage victim That was once Art Deadly politics A contaminated game Religious warfare Using God’s name In vain Media outlets Pointing fingers And laying blame Taking no accountability Just taking aim Spewing Their version of the truth Manipulation without shame Highlighting The glitz and glamor And those Who sold their souls For fame Glorified are Sex, drugs, and lies I can’t help but to think… Is it all by design? Venom poured into our eyes To keep us blind To keep us in line But we beg for more Thinking it keeps us
alive
There is crude in the food And slaughter in the water Mass ingestion of deception Infecting your sons and daughters
…So keep your soul covered For there’s a war In a realm that’s spiritual Get your mind out of the gutter And stay away from this Hazardous material © 2013 Sirius KingFeatured Review
