Let The Slaves Play

Let The Slaves Play

A Poem by Sirius King
"

None are more hopelessly enslaved than those who falsely believe they are free. Johann Wolfgang Von Goethe

"

Let The Slaves Play

Let the slaves play
Let them think they’re free
We want happy slaves
To increase productivity

You don’t have to beat them
Unless they get too “out of line”
The trick is to enslave them mentally
Take control of their minds

 Send them to school
Teach them to obey our rules
Give them the tools
So they remain our fools

Though some are smart
And may begin to make waves
Those are the ones
We must send to their graves

Let them choose their trade
Give them a paid vacation
But keep them chasing after
"The American Dream"
To keep them on the plantation

This is the important part
So listen to what I say
You must never
Ever
Let the slave know
That he is a slave

It's good. It didn't flow so well, but it did potrey the main thought wonderfully. Try establishing a syllable pattern, that may give the flow a "boost"
