Love Lies Gently SleepingA Poem by SerenityboundLove Lies Gently Sleeping
soft warm embraces silent smiles on faces covers for warmth shared my love lies gently sleeping a soft glow on the outer edges of his skin depict the essence of an angel hidden within staring quietly upon the outskirts of his dream while quiet whimpers escape worlds unseen I lay still in his embrace wondering where is he now and what does he see while my love lies gently sleeping does he dream of us does he dream of yesterdays past or maybe tomorrows that last how so does his tale run will the end be stolen by the sun as it peeks thru folds to light the way when he wakes to start his day will love linger on in a tale unwritten yes I am smitten by his warm embrace as I stare quietly upon his face my love bursting into joyful tears the wonder of it all has found me weeping while my love lies gently sleeping.
