Loss of Words

Loss of Words

A Poem by Serenitybound

Loss of Words

Distant echoes of memories past

sadness for a loss of words

silence the only action allowed

my heart the recipient unheard

I shiver in the darkness of your love

my light the only warmth near

walking with head and shoulders down

suppresed by your silent fears

love me, hate me, set me free

hold me, touch me, my need to be

for I die within

by a loss of words without

my spirit pleads

While I wait

for you

sb.

i like the subtle soft sound of rhyme
within this poem. Line 13 - pleeds
is spelled, pleads :P Other than the
typo, this is a very moving write.
Thanks for sending it my way to read :)

Nicely done
It is so sad at the loss of time with the one you love
My heart breaks reading this :( Its filled with such saddness
I only pray that the love will light your world again, and soon dear
