My Secret in Silence

My Secret in Silence

A Poem by Serenitybound
"

The Endurance of a Lifetime

"

 MY SECRET IN SILENCE

You come into my life
quietly, simply, placidily
and my words stood still...
I couldn’t express in words
or even in simple gestures
the secret I kept in my heart
so I loved in silence
admired you from a distance
dreamt of you from afar
I wanted to say I love you
I wanted to say I care
but cowardly
maybe you'll only laugh at me
in silence then I will love you
in silence then I will care
until words are boldly spoken
without fear

A sad situation to put your emotions into, loving someone from a distance can be gut wrenching at times, we wish to say and tell so much, but a fear takes comes over us and we are left wondering and wishing, without satisfaction. I notice, you are very good at laying your emotions out onto your page.

Serenitybound,

Georgeous, crystal clear, full of life and love and intoxication... slowing down to sadness.

A tear drips down as rememberance came to front... If I hadn't trajedy would've taken it's course in my heart.

We all should keep in mind "just do it"... do not ever keep it a secret.

Extremely well written!

Keep it up,

Legacy

Oh by the way, I think you should put this in the contest of Love or of Enlightenment on Poetic Infusion Societ!

I was astounded with your words! Amazing the way you portray those feelings, feelings of badly wanting but afraid of asking. You definitely captured my heart with this one, you've managed to gracefully write the feelings of torture we all feel at one time. Well done.

a lovely write. Truly.
I think many of us can
identify with this kind
of "silence." I hope to
read more of you soon.
