Living With The Creature

Living With The Creature

A Poem by Serena Clara

Observing him movements,

I hear music through the walls.

Staring eyes into eyes,

as we are the same and he's haunted me before.

In fantasy granted; then he was worse.

Melodies intertwine with its breathing.

Soft pulses that gather and expand

with the air of knowing

with the stillness in the air

and the stillness in my face.

Now that the creature and I have met,

we stare at other beings.

Crumples in skin; in visage, are hidden.

He knows a trust that I do not wish to keep

but living becomes sweeter with it.

The unknown is always where it lurks.

Undecided on whether that is better,

I close my soul and wait for the footsteps to stir me.

For somewhere in silence,

I yearn for their malice.

Dark, i love it. This could easily be the makings of a black metal song. Good job
