My life stood, a symphony.A Poem by Serena ClaraA re-writing of the Emily Dickinson poem "My Life had stood a loaded gun"
My life stood, a symphony,
Conducted by dramatic process in life. Minor suppresses times of glee- Major-times of strife. Manipulated b the rise- and fall- of my crescendo aided heart. Darkness haunts: Dawn to Dawn, Anticipated before I start. As Fault lands on there staved shoulders -of mine, I crave delight in the faces carved into the boulders, as try to make things right. © 2013 Serena ClaraReviews
