Footsteps 1

Footsteps 1

A Poem by Serena Clara

Now I know why they warned my not to parade the night.
Not for the danger, but for the eerie ability of sight.

I walk with it.

I walk with nothing but the echo's of my feet,
Bouncing.
Wall to Wall.
Cold stone floor to Forever sky.

I walk below it.

There sits the moon,
casting shadows.
A rainbow parts rowdy clouds,
aided by our man-made light

I walk by it.

Everything's reflected.
Im held by this mirrored glass;
I can't see through it.
only past images haunting me.

But i keep walking

For i will not run.
I will not run again.

Not sure if you meant feel or feet - first line 2nd stanza

This piece has an eeriee feel i can't say i fully understand it but i can say i like it. Its like im missing something increadbly daunting that's just behind my eyes. "everythings reflected, im held by this mirrored glass" - what a honestly terrifying thought.
