A Home Sky's Rest

A Home Sky's Rest

A Poem by Serena Clara

Farewell to the long lost girl,
Shes leaving this forlorn world.
Her heart was broken,
her mind full up.

So long to her warm hands,
she's worn from this frozen land.
Oh how she aches for a home sky's rest.

Farewell to her beating heart,
for it was cursed before the start,
for her truly to see that there's no turning back.

A very beautiful, but sad poem. The word choice was good and it flowed fairly well. Overall, a good read.

Life continues onward. No matter of we live in the past or the present. Time inevitably moves on. I like this poem. It made me ponder for a bit. Good work
