The SirenA Story by SeraphAs she was strolling down the dark eerie alley the thoughts of torture and immense pain crowded her mind. Dark visions flashed in her memory causing her body to ache and itch as if nails being dragged down her soft, cold withered skin and around her never ending curves. The intoxicating scent of the drug crowded her nostrils making the fresh air seem as if she was back in the cold dungeon breathing in the last remaining oxygen surrounding her. There was nothing her heart couldn't take even the entrapment was a breeze for her but just like any half-human the consequences were dire. She was the a walking target, any man or beast could attack her, the sight of her would burn their minds and light up their eyes. She was a magnet attracting the dark depths of a hungry man's lust, driving him insane to the last bone in his body. The alley seemed endless as if she was walking for hours but truly her pace was slower than that of a dying snake slithering over barren land looking for even the slightest sight of water. The darkness enclosed her fighting off the every bit of light that wanted to greet her, to bring out from her dark, frozen soul. Sounds of the night owl followed her from behind taunts of death awakened her dreary eyes from the dawning sleep. If only the sun would rise, if only the cold wind could become a welcoming summer breeze her heart would be at peace her body would not tear apart for the need of the one she called her own. She was lost, broken, shattered she needed a savior, she needed a hero. The only light that shun from her was the burning lust the on going spell capturing every man, human or none to her very grasp. To drain the living daylight so that she might just live another day. Finally coming to an end she heard the heartbeat of another half human a man perhaps the only heartbeat she could ever hear. Her walking became as if she was floating, her breath stopping every once in a while hitching at the thought of the contact with another half human male. It excited her as the whips and stones running down her curved body. Edging herself against the wall, leaning on it as if she was being consumed as the moonlight took its placing lighting up her cold skin as if one million diamonds illuminated her. The ragged shawl that once hung on her shoulders to her bare ever clean feet, vanished into thin air , the blood red, skin tight dress that exposed her legs would burn the eyes of anyone. Her body was slender and that f a perfect shape, her hair a beautiful strawberry blonde curled itself over her shoulders and along the line of her strapless dress onto her breasts. She was a gem and the approaching footsteps of the male half-human only burned her dress more making it seem as if it was that of real blood just rolling down her pale skin. As pale as a vampire they might say. The male half-human wandered around the corner of the alley, he definitely not what she expected. His hair was golden brown and was set to a rather unruly look, his eyes were a bright blue and almost seemed to have no pupils, his skin was pale as hers and seemed to be broken as if he was a cracked glass. He was strong in appearance and his jeans hung from his waist giving away the V of every male. Her eyes wandered on his entire body her lust growing faster than quick sand would sink one. Their eyes met suddenly and it seemed as if their entire dimension had come to a stand still. He approached her but in her sight he didn't seem to move all the she could focus on was his eyes they seemed to hypnotize her to a level none can. She felt her body pushed against the wall and their lips met rather quickly, a surge on lightning running through their every limb as the kiss deepened and soon turned into a lust for revenge. Her dark side beginning to over take her as she remembered what she must do to stay alive but it seemed as if she couldn't his kiss surged her, no words were even spoken. She suddenly found the strength to push him away as he flew to the opposite wall. He looked at her with a drop dead gorgeous smirk and asked simply "didn't you like it?". She looked at him with the look of desperate pain. He asked" what is your name, who are you, why are you here?" His questions seemed impossible for her to answer for her voice was never to be heard by another of her kind or any kind for that matter. Her eyes became white and started glowing as bright as a star as she raised her hand, dragging him upward against the wall. He seemed calm but it was of no surprise to her as her strength pressed into his neck. Cracks traveled from his eye down to his neck and the blue in his eyes seemed to dim slowly. Walking on mid air towards the calm half-human she felt a sharp pain shoot through her body, her mind began to chant do not kill him. She ignored the chants and opened her mouth slowly letting out a ghostly aura that spread around the man. The aura began to tremble and a high pitched screamed broke the silence of the night. The blue disappeared from the young man's eyes and his entire body became cracked like broken glass. Slowly dropping him she smile, satisfied to be fueled up once more, looked at the now gray eyes of the soul less creature and said in a faint whisper" My name is seraph and I am The Fallen." Turning on her heels she disappeared, consumed by darkness once more, as dawn followed behind her. None as such was chased by the morning feared of becoming what they once were for what they are now. © 2014 Seraph |
