Trapped In A Dream

Trapped In A Dream

A Poem by Seraph

The wind shall howl a cry of bitter tears,

To break the silenced death of the night,

But no matter how soothing or tempting it may be,

The mountain will never bow at its feet.

You can walk on the waves of time and space,

Guided by the stars and the moon,

But alas the light shall fade away,

As darkness covers the man in the moon.

One may leap from door to door,

On the lily pads of the clear still water,

But as darkness has covered what once was light,

The door to reality has remained undiscovered.

Fantasy has its way of taking a path,

That may lead to death or life,

But on this day of nature's birth,

No man shall fall ill nor rise.

As nature is born and the darkness fades,

The wind now sings than cry tonight.

The man in the moon begins to dance,

A tune of laughter, smiles and joy.

But beware as you lie still in your bed,

The moon is now your only protector,

Until the sun has risen from its slumber,

You shall search for the door of reality forever.
