Africans say no to Xenophobia

Emancipate yourself from mental slavery, those were the words of a prophet.

You have been raped, battered, mentally abused and left to die.

Your sense of pride had been taken away, shame, reproach and low self-esteem were handed over to you which you now so gloriously exalt.

Although Mother Nature was kind enough to make you beautiful, bestow and bless you with several good things Nature has got to offer.

Is this what enticed your rapists? Be it as it may, your gullibility and weakness gave them an edge over you. You had been exploited and robbed of some of your goodies.

You have suffered enough to continue suffering.

Unfortunately, you no longer fight your rapists but yourselves. Is this part of the weaknesses your rapists saw and decided take the advantage of that?

Oh, Africa! My motherland, the place of my birth. A Continent rich in culture, beliefs, tradition, values and morals. A place flowing with milk and with honey. It is high time we stopped fighting and killing yourselves so that your rapists don’t mock you.

Let us emancipate ourselves, free our mind and work together to develop our land so that we can stand tall amongst other continents and our children do not suffer the Post-Trauma of the Rape.

My writing might be a bit rusty but the message is clear. We say no to Xenophobia
