Ghosts~

Ghosts~

A Poem by NoneOfYourBusiness akaKITTY KUTABAREakaCandyPole

He said "We are all someone's ghost."
I took this as encouragement
and began the striptease of my skin

He started screaming
at the exposure of muscle structure
corded
beautiful
meat
burned
with every scar of his inner struggles
for which my body
paid the price

At the nervous system
he tried in vain
to climb through the brambles
of his personal hell

I said, "No. Don't you remember, we are all someone's ghost."

His ghost was guilt
My ghost was vengeance

against the grain is where you like it and that makes any being with fiber able to see the beauty of the met surface you scratch at to create true flow from an imperfection technique ...excellent piece

Your acute detail was always your strong point. The ending here pulls an ahhhhh from the reader. We all have ghosts and they are all unique.
