Berries Jubilee~

Berries Jubilee~

A Poem by NoneOfYourBusiness akaKITTY KUTABAREakaCandyPole
"

~hmmm~

"

a living table

marble white

veined with patterned ink

curved with a wolf hip

a butterfly belly

and cherry blossom shoulder

on display

for fingertips

plucking berries

from the bowl of the middle Eve

the side curve of Pandora

where sins are buried under

the floating rib

floating

in a dream

of water

amidst the pine scented aroma

of a hall

filled with men in suits

armour in their amorous eyes

and if I were to roll sideways

and scatter all the berries

in a jubilant rush

from my thighs

would these men

with rich pockets

and empty lives

understand the significance

of a little match girl

throwing her flame

into their fire

I don’t claim to have the answers

to totemic moments

all I have is a body

for berries jubilee

covering my night

a mask of boysenberry velvet

covering my eyes

so that these fine gentlemen with full wallets

and empty lives

can eat of my flesh

and drink of my wine

without ever having

to humanize

their living table

of marble white

and I think I am alright

with this

I think

I prefer this

as I learn my sensual trails

in the patterns their fingertips

leave behind

in berry stains

I see . . . .if anyone is going to victimize this girl well then she is going to be the one who victtimizes herself, which negates the victim mentality and she comes to hold all the sexual power over the men who would suck her dry and strip her of her dignity.

They do not get this, my dovely. They cannot grasp the significance of what is said here. Majority of the people in your life will resemble this-- rich men with empty hearts who have nothing of value.... miss the value of the berries spilled before them. A repeat of history's beginning. Senseless, blind, deaf, unable to grasp the wisdom screaming from the rooftops because they are occupied, not with the betterment of themselves, but just with the pitiable reflection of what they are. But our cherry blossoms will continue to sprout and we will continue to pour the sweetness before mankind until they drain us dry, because just one hearing ear, one moldable heart is good enough. You will forever live within me for this ...because you wish to be full and satisfied where it counts. I love you indefinitely, dovely.

Mm let me put a different spin, a woman who understand her power and the sexuality to use on those that are weak... men. Berry good

This made me think of the power of man...misused. An abuse of sexuality. This girl is a victim of her own gender.

It's not until later she discovers this erotic nature....it almost feels as if she chooses to embrace it?

Good stuff!

'and if I were to roll sideways

and scatter all the berries

this is poetry that exists on different levels, the layers stripped to the raw inner, the sensual journey maddening and unrepentant. i wanted to say yes, "scatter the berries," run as fast as you can out of there, just get away from this highly polished shimmering of taste and sound of 'berry stains' and white marble tables...but i think that is what you wanted me to say all along :)

You make the forbidden even more tempting... when power meets desperation all bets are off.
