The Lonely Poem~

The Lonely Poem~

A Poem by NoneOfYourBusiness akaKITTY KUTABAREakaCandyPole
"

Above the paper

hovering

a thousand curves and lines;

the poet

takes a  bullet in metaphors

her ink

splatters

drips down a picture frame

a coroner’s Rorschach

Above the paper

hovering

an onyx moth

her dusky dust

molting

in candle light

The Lonely poem

folds her corners

once

thrice

over

flip

once more

now;

a recycled poem

into

an origami swan

in skye blue

Your sumptuous gossamer poetic striptease takes my breath away. How you intermingle tragedy and sensuality is beyond me, and beyond human, to have this sort of floating affect between the mind and the soul.

This moved me in ways I can't articulate. A powerful poem wrapped in gentle delicacies.
Thank you Selene. Skye blue is one of my favorite colors.

This flows softly..so subtle, peaceful, presses, molds us to fit the way
it wants us to.

Wow this was great. I love the way you ended it, making the paper into a swan, that added layers to our job as poets! Well described, well penned, and very well formatted. Great work, easily a favorite!

Your capacity for deep expression through language is nothing short of astonishing.

gads, i felt this. Hell the first stanza had a lot of imagery similar to mine ( you know i love a rorschack) but this one really hit home. I just wish i could take the last step with confidence.
