~patterns~

Above the paper

hovering

a thousand curves and lines;

the poet

takes a  bullet in metaphors

her ink

splatters

drips down a picture frame

a coroner’s Rorschach

 

Above the paper

hovering

an onyx moth

her dusky dust

molting

in candle light

 

The Lonely poem

folds her corners

once

thrice

over

flip

once more

now;

a recycled poem

into

an origami swan

in skye blue

Very nice poem, it is so sad to think of this lonely poem. It is a poem that is unread, unloved, unappreciated, and untouched by human hands that might charish it. It's is an existence without purpose. I don't know of anything that could be more miserable then that.

Origami's are nice I actually made one last night but had to read the instructions like a thousand and two times. I think this poem is simply fantastic how it describes from beginning to end. It is elegant and I adore it. Rebirth of a poem from one form of beauty into another!
