The Crystal Aspect Of Vision~

The city looks beautiful

from this perspective

each scar refracted by a tear globule

every broken shell

bleeds golden yolk

and I find my fingertips

covered with thistle

my fleece in a puddle

progeny

breaking me at every turn

 

I find it almost peaceful

to give my last piece of shell

and be revealed

 

My towers are not perfect

they are missing struts

and my windows were never

really

reinforced

and my doors were always opened

just so much

but not enough

I see

 

There’s a jumping off point for the soul

I found it

in the element of disappointment

 

The city looks beautiful

from this perspective

my feet find the air

comforting

the wind

under my skin

of rapture
