Isn't it amazing what one simple but profoundly beautiful birth of nature can do for our souls? Hearing the purest of sounds--the earth's own music. Its call for us to join ourselves to the sea. We see our world, our surroundings in an entirely different light! As for this tale of a simple day at Graveling Point, my dovely, you spin into a world of gypsy love and wrinkled-faced reproof and admiration. Delectable!
This was like watching and Angel reach out into the farthest depths of the sea and pull the sun up over the horizon. Beautiful. I loved it! I could feel jealousy for a person who gets to view such sights each morning, but I have to admit that only a soul who loves this scenery only half as much as you do belongs and deserves to be there.
Ha, this is marvelous and reminds me sooo, of the many years I spent on the Jersey coast-specifically A.C.. I spent my entire summers there and it was my second home away from Philadelphia-(my first). From the time I was a toddler until my teens, I walked the boards from one end to the other and when I needed some restful peace and quiet I would go to my special Jetty, actually two monster Jetty's strung side by side with a narrow, cavernous center between them where I could climb down inside the Jetty, and feel the waves crashing around me, the residual spray above being a petulant guest and kept me moist all the while. Often I would seek this refuge shortly before the tide came in and watched the water begin to fill cavern between the rocks, timing my retreat from the furthest point out for a heroic exit before the Jetty was completely engulfed. God Selene, I cherished those moments like none other, and reading this piece brought back every one of those distinctly unique experiences with the sand sea and rocks, as if I were there again. To me, this sums it up quite directly....... "Divinity
connects
itself a pattern
in brindled hands
wrinkled
by the tides"
Amazing reminder of the bliss to be found in the awe of the Oceans grip..

the contrast molds brillantly in this piece - a balancing act of the harsh realities escaping into fantasy - enjoyed the imagery complimenting emotion thru sensory motions.
You can cut the strings from an ordinary day and jumble them into a cats cradle which you manipulate in all word image shapes and sizes trapping life in energy transfer from just being...amazing stuff
