Shall I Fall In The Puddle Of Your Bane~

Shall I Fall In The Puddle Of Your Bane~

A Poem by NoneOfYourBusiness akaKITTY KUTABAREakaCandyPole
"

~this will win me no favors~I know~but then life ain't about a popularity contest despite what megamedia feeds its sheeple~ =)~ peace~

"

Shall I cheer with you over a body

screaming hallelujah

stamping my feet in crazy rhythm to the chanting

of the masses?

Shall I uplift my pain

and call it even

as I inflict agony upon another?

Shall I vindicate my righteous stance

by clawing up the grave of bones

bound inside the mother's womb?

No

today

you can cheer without me

as I take one more step back, into my hogan

away from the mad glee of mankind

as they blind themselves with another eye

for an eye

watching stars through my roof

as the whole world becomes

blind

~sorry peeps~I don't lead with emotive reactions~concrete thinking and discernment are encoded to deeply in me~ I wish I could strip the gauze from every eye~ instead I'll scurry back into my sigh and keep the rest of my opinions to myself~

Dear angel of the concrete thinkers, I bow to the courage of your heart. How many nowadays are willing to question the revenge mentality of the human race. Not many. Do you remember a while back when you stepped between that man and the woman? You almost died that day. I believe what Erik said then. That one day you will get yourself killed for doing the right thing. And here, some will crucify you for your sincerity. F--- them. Some of us will die true to our conscience. I think that is very important to people like us.

I know that the death of this person changes nothing as another will soon be in his place evil people are like ant hills destroy one and another is in it's place within a week. There is IMO only one way to deal with evil and most of this world is too civilized to comtemplate it Nuff said!

I understand your feelings totally..have we just made him a martyr? Bringing this man to trial would have served us better..although for all the people who lost a loved one due to his actions - I can understand the sense of justice being done..

it is worth a mention that the Muslims believe that they are just as right as the western world..it is in our separateness that we falter - all of us..

I will find a place to stand quietly and watch the stars also ...

I agree with your stance, Selene but I also understand the need people have felt to express their jubilation, knowing they will wake tomorrow with the hollowness of the knowledge that nothing has changed - no resurrections or olive branches or reconciliations. We stand witness to human nature.

A concrete thinker! I'll be damned. A rare species. Nothing is clear in the actions of people anymore. The whole of society is a jumbled mess.
A strong message. Even if most don't agree and get an attitude with you about it, at least it will stick with them.

The world has been blind for a long time. Will I be in the streets rejoicing, lifting my glass in the air, screaming at the top of my lungs in chants of USA? No. I am happy he is dead, but because his life had no other meaning than to bring pain and death. But I will not celebrate him...it gives him too much respect. He was nothing more than the s**t I left in the toilet and flushed away.

And the sad part of all of this....His death will lead to the birth of many more.

Always,

Matthew

so very true....the world celebrates the banish of evil yet the hero becomes the enemy somehow...the essence of competition and dominance is never pretty
