Highways~A Poem by NoneOfYourBusiness akaKITTY KUTABAREakaCandyPoleI beached my soul on a dark highway caught in the blacklights of a doe's eyes pupils to back roads hooves skittering across stones animal lines blurred between the break pedal and the windshield spider webbing in crystal my necklace made of blood beads and blue veins on a dark highway where I beached my soul for a doe who was living life while I had wasted most of mine worrying about stupid things
Hoof prints in blood a black bear with nose to air nostrils flaring they don't go by tragedies they go by scent; too bad we human things forgot all about the simplicity of just living
