This was a beautiful, sensual, intimate look at touching and how good it is for the soul. I am sure it could be taken in many different ways, but this is how I saw it. Intimacy does not always have to involve sex. It is a moment of recognition between two people. This was so so lovely. I really enjoyed reading it!
"Between us
There is poetry",
A safe and sensual crousel spinning, this poem is...
Painted horses going round and round, up,and down
The stanzas, your readers ( including me,)
Grabing for the brass ring, grasping it, holding it
Close to our hearts, thankful for the free ride.
mmm...starting as the smallest slightest tingle inside, yet a tingle of the soul, your warm and intimate thought embrace ripples outward along my avenues, buzzing up and down the lines like the first excited hint of a juicy rumor while slowly the radiating warmth from my heart spreads outwards like the heat from a good german firebox into the hearth and then the air of the room and eventually the whole house has an intimate sanguine glow...an eager animated child's face turns up and exclaims with eyes shining wonder, "Selene is here!"
Your poetry exudes the vitality of life...what more could I say?
There is always a strength in your poetry. This is a very sensual and gentle poem, but that underlying strength is there and it makes a nice push pull feeling seep through the words. I like the short lines that say just enough and I love the way you put words together and make them sing.
I liked very much the delicate gentleness of this, the warmth of the connection but handled with such finesses. The pleasure of touching and tasting, of the engagement of the senses was like a whiff of exotic perfume, words that floated into the dream with subtle fragrance... I love to share the breath of your dreams
