My mind, Kahlua

pouring suppositions

over

supper, hungry

for lips

busy exhaling

cosmic formulas

at a bar

 

Praline seduction

lady fingers

diaphanous

against the pressure

of your genius

pressing

cerebral blooms

open

layer by layer

creamy core shaken and stirred

served straight up

on my diamond back

coiled to strike

The poem is beautiful. Photo made the words come alive. I saw diamond backs at a distance in the Texas desert. I believe best to leave them alone. They want no part of man. Man need to leave them in peace. I like the description and the ending. Diamond backs snakes are one of natures wonders. A outstanding poem.

:) :) :) :) the mirth bubbles up from my belly into my throat, like a hot air balloon that is trying to escape and fly free, and my mind tries to hold it down while it comprehends ALL of the concept, like a balloon under water that keeps slipping out from under my hand to escape to the surface, and before I can grasp the full gist of your eloquent meaning the laugh is in my throat now and hits my lips...turning up into a full cheshire smile as my chuckle sets off sound waves in the air and I sigh...aahhh Selene... :~)
