Seashells in the pearl Chablis

Sip it slow

Potion  flow

Quid pro quo

Her dreams in dough

Kneading in the afterglow

Supple hands

By the sea

Stirring weather

Dreams in tether

Release

In peace

Her lips cerise

Pursed and proud

Exhale a cloud

Silver smoke

Dream avowed

A vow thus singed

Epic soul

On human binge

Entice the man

Close to the fringe

Don’t cringe

Watch close

Her deep disclosure

Stark exposure

Flash of camera

Strike of lightning

The sailor at the sea edge writing

Hearts in sand

He went to sea

To see what he could see and be

But all that he could see was her

And all that he could be for her

The sailor threw the rope ashore

She caught it in her hands with hope

And on the dock

The hourglass

Gave her sands to happenstance

Table set

The sky repents

Her cloth of white

His touch polite

Dinner comes with twilight hush

Drips of setting sun in blush

The night in crush

Of blue and white

A sailor now a man alright

There at the edge

The deep blue sea

Came to shore to see

Her sailor ample

In his heart

Led by example

Work of art

Under his hands so strong and fair

The sea retraced her waves’ affair

For another sailor come to sea

To see what he could see

oh yes!!! the rhymes are sublime - they are subtle and then harsh - close and then distant - like the flow of the sea which so ripples through this - it pulls and throws you as the images twist - before leaving a memorable memory and departing!! nice!

what I love about you is your sense of profound confidence in your writing and the level of imagination and creativity that you put into your work... you are so boundless in your use of words... and you can really tell, by reading it, that you write for the purpose of joy, not to prove anything... It's a lovely story that you picked up here aswell, east asian mythology has always appealed to me... so 100/100 from me. well written. :)
