Free Fall~A Poem by NoneOfYourBusiness akaKITTY KUTABAREakaCandyPoleI suspend this movement; air balloons with wicker baskets sea currents raid the sky lemon chiffon silk cocoon in his arms carried through brambles and snowflake clouds my thumb and index finger trap a marble sphere rolling pebbles between my cheeks koi fish scales eyelids shimmer my fist through a paper thin wall suspended ink his hands in my blue jean pockets I don’t understand this disconnect my hard drive driven into the sheets I await before a white plate delicacies on fire books burning suspended on a ledge above a city he screams for me to fly but my wings are made of stories and my effort dribbles ink columns down the haiga of the world captured here in wicker baskets floating under the sea tiny fish in snow globes on the sand shaken air balloons rupture on a coral reef tumble out the girl with the pearl eyes On the ledge a story writes itself in free fall
