The Thorn~

The Thorn~

A Poem by NoneOfYourBusiness akaKITTY KUTABAREakaCandyPole
"

~a parable~

"

"what is this" asked the lamb

"the thorn" said the lion

"where is the human who will pull it out?" asked the daisy

"they got that story wrong" said the lion, "it was the human who set the trap in the first place"

Hello Selene,

Such a truth...Maybe we should be honest with ourselves and realize how destructive of a species we are. It's funny that everyday humans are destroying life directly or indirectly. We will be the means of our own end, yet I slaughter one to two women a year and they call me a monster.

Regards,

Matthew

So true... simply told but far more complex in reality... a reflection of the destructive nature of man -who will us is the question, as we deliberately push our species into the fire...

And on a more personal level we make violence on individuals sometimes for no other reason than to bring them down to our level to feel better. Maybe we placed the trap SO we could pull the thorn

Prey asks predator when will the humans pull out his thorn, but humans are who turned natural selection and predation into violence for violence sake. We perverted that to gain things and places? When will we learn?
