Pan’s Puzzle(d) Girl~

Pan’s Puzzle(d) Girl~

A Poem by NoneOfYourBusiness akaKITTY KUTABAREakaCandyPole

night

my body curves over in crescent white

feet dream a pool of liquid ink

stained

pulling me deep

obsidian spiral on a note

of your lute

across a meadow

crushed petals

down on all fours

girl as puzzle in your arms

such an old little look in her eyes

such an odd little purse to her lips

this meadow of my fragments

me

long beyond

screaming

begging

like once I did

offering my diamond earrings in exchange for my soul

I’ve stopped running

yet find myself whispering

run!

run!

and she turns her eyes

(my eyes, once blue, did you know)

 to me

and says

"You are Pan's girl as puzzle."

Pan smiles

above her shoulder

he winks my woman plumes apart

says

"I saved you through a thousand and one nights."

the girl laughs in shivers

Pan’s large hands against the small of her tiny

shell back . . . .

ink writes me

a curve in calligraphy

across

today's canvas

desperate to save the future

from the past

yes, 'saving the future from the past'...we have to say it first, then stumble through...you describe like no other the coloration and formation of the stirring, shifting, spinning depths, of what it looks like coming into light, to be set free...selene, child, friend, other, same

Once again, you do your magic with words. The final stanza's ending:

"desperate to save the future
from the past"

resonates most memorably.

This reads like a puzzle we as the readers
want to put together, to figure out the mystery.
Wickedly a delight:Pan smiles

above her shoulder

he winks my woman plumes apart

says

"I saved you through a thousand and one nights."

the girl laughs in shivers

Pan’s large hands against the small of her tiny

shell back . . . .
Love this line too:ink writes me

a curve in calligraphy

across

today's canvas
Such textures you create:)

I love the feeling of this piece; how obscure things may become in time, the effect unknown perhaps until too late.

delicate volcano....paradox in pink and blue...arousing enigmatic plumes fume a sizzle peaked high into across and through the very ether in that cliche we canvas as as a soul...pale jewels pocking landscape dots on dots on needle sharp in mind eyed waltz around cerebral cortex....hemispheres and lobes aglow enraptured in so pleasant yet wretched i don't knows...past conspiracies and blitkriegs have no hold on one with such control....and either way...to run or stay...all are ionised inside expansive radius...

I'm savoring the taste of "ink writes me a curve in calligraphy"
