A Teaspoon Of Sugar . . . .

~a shortee sugar spin~

Mornings become a little less

cumbersome

over coffee

with you

poise of your magician’s hands

poised in a stream of sunshine

cascading cream

from the engraved crystal of my palms

burrs stuck to my soul

falling to the ground

opening seeds

as you pass the sugar

dusting off my spirit

with those poised hands

tapering corporeal gaps

my threads

playing with your threads

above

a sugar bowl
