BleedingMuse~

~poem as cathartic self healing~

with each write

a thorn is broken off the stem

one day all the thorns will be gone

there may remain

a tiny

blurred spot

where once they burrowed

but the thorns

themselves

will never hook inward again

to bleed the soul

~inspired~
once upon a time I used to teach creative writing as self therapy to incarcerated juveniles at our local detention center~ on paper their souls bled~ anger left behind in ink~ pain processed through prose is a miraculous aspect to observe~

It seems as if your every word is saturated with emotion and profound thought, whether in a poem or an author's note. I loved it. :)
