He loves me

he wants to eat the monster straight out of me

he loves me not like you

he doesn’t understand how I crave the bruises too

He loves me

he needs to rip the madness right out of me

he loves me like a killer

drains my berry blood until my animal grows dimmer

He loves me

he wants to cut the freedom straight out of me

he loves me like a brute

smashes every dream within my mouth until I’m mute

He loves me

he needs to tear the woman right out of me

he loves me like a storm

uprooting me from earth to bend, to whirl, perform

He loves me

he needs to smash the w***e, the Venus, right out of me

he loves me like a hardened god

and in so doing lost it all

he loves me

he loves me not

It's hard to understand some things...why some dysfunctional relationships continue...as if love and hate abut one another...a safe word was established, spoken and ignored...that anything redeemable could be salvaged from snarling mouth and pounding fists...hard to imagine the appeal of the brutal man but you write it with such eloquence in spite of the damage done...that is what makes you stand alone...without peer...in my opinion

love"s lust-that lascivious 'don't give s**t' person-maybe bad for ya' but sooo good for ya' in every other messed up lewd way--let's just say-kind of the opposite-but
just what you want---what your personality longs for(quixotic--uncontrollable wants) positive or negative-(who cares)-right???-- wants are wants--Hell...who has any passion for the banal--the boring--this poem is a perfect expression of that emotion

"Shudder in awsumeness" lol Loved that poem really got the sense of arousal and the imagiry of plucking the petals from a flower.
The repeating motion of "He loves me." Exelent build up to the end where finally she says he loves me not. It was as if throughout the poem i felt the want no the need for you to say those words and for that it helped create suspence.
"smashes every dream within my mouth until I’m mute" I was wandering about this line is it intended that this is where he kisses you and that silences your voice? If so great way to say it! :) loved it keep the work coming :) Ill keep reading.
