Enigma of LifeA Poem by catwomanI couldn't decide what I wanted from my life and though i persevered hard to find an answer, all i managed to produce was a poem which got me no closer to my answer, but gave me further reason to beliThe greatest mystery ever known The hardest one to solve Is to know what one wants from life. It hardly seems a task too hard Yet it seems that hardly anyone succeeds. Every now and then voices within Taunts you with needs Yet when one achieves Voices subsides and new ones arise. A young artless mind As mine was long ago, felt that Achieving one's dreams Was the ultimate salvation one can get But now a mind altered By weathering through unmerciful life Knows that there is no end To dreams or carvings or the Sickly feeling that one has Wasted away the precious moments of life
