Unwanted

Unwanted

A Poem by seirai
"

It was originally a short note to a friend that I thought I was losing. Never gave it to her and instead converted it to this.

"

“You thought
You knew me?”
They ask,
Voices dripping scorn.
My reply
Is meek:
“I--
I hoped…”
It draws
A laugh
From every one
Of them.

Each voice,
Each face,
Turns hateful.
They all
Deserted me
Because I
Wasn’t good enough
As a friend.
I didn’t
Know them,
I didn’t
Pay attention
When I
Should have.

They don’t want
A friend like me.

Your format always makes me smile. It's so unique, and you make it work so well with your ideas.

As always, your writing sparks questions in me. I must behave and keep them to myself though, hehe~

This writing is good though. It's soild, simple, and undeniably captivating. Your style takes on a flow of its own, which I always enjoy.
