icarus, too high.

icarus, too high.

A Poem by a.k.m.
"

too young

"
“when do you think icarus knew?

knew that his wings would melt off into the sea
where he would meet his own mortality

when do you think he knew, that even his blessed father,
could not save him from damnation

maybe he knew that there was no hope,
when the most beautiful of all the stars,
would be so kind, as to kill him”
