A long Walk influences your Thoughts a lotA Story by Ginny WoodsNature. Freedom. Good Vibes. It was a wonderful day, nothing special, but a perfect one for Olivia. She loved the soft sunshine coming through her window onto her little flowers she plucked just a day ago. The first spring flowers she could find and that made her pretty proud. Lif sat on her wooden chair drawing little sketches as a ray of sunshine fell on her paper and made her look outside the bright window of her bedroom. The view amazed her so much that she decided to leave her art work behind and go on a long walk outside. She put on her jacket and a pair of her favourite Vans, before she stepped outside and locked the door of her home. Breathed in, breathed out, kept it in, thought about, loved it all, jumped around, memories came up, let it out. Olivia took some deep breaths to enjoy one of the first warm days that year. She had always loved the countryside, the smell of fresh air, the sound of the early birds, the view of the colourful earth. Lif started walking to the park near her home. She adored this place full of people who had the same intention she had. After a few miles of walking, she sat down on a bench in front of a little lake, snuggling into her warm jacket while slipping her hands into her jacket pockets. She enjoyed being out there, listening to the birds’ songs while closing her eyes. The sunshine on her face made it all much more beautiful than it already was. © 2014 Ginny WoodsReviews
