In case it's my last goodbye

Why do I bother anyway?

It's not like you can see me

your eyes can see perfectly well

but I'm not something your eyes pick to see

It's okay, go and shut the door

just pretend I'm not there at all

it's not like I won't be here

when you come banging at my door

But what if I took a wrong turn?

What if I swallowed the wrong pill?

or you find me hanging behind the bathroom door

what if I'm on the highway to hell?

Because I can't hear myself anymore

and when I look at the sky, there's nothing there

Though I haven't looked up in a while so 

I guess I forgot that there was something there

I don't mean my religion at all

I know my God and my faith is still in place

I am talking about the visions and the thoughts 

that's been roaming around my head

and it's not like your gonna see this 

and I hope that I won't have to go

because family is always and forever they say

I sure hope I'm good at my role...
